Brake Maintenance & Replacement

When do you need to replace/service your brakes? At Superior Acura we may suggest you replace/service your brakes when your brakes are noisy when applied, your brake fluid level and condition are irregular, you feel a vibration when braking, if your vehicle pulls while applying the brake pedal or if your pedal feel or travel are unacceptable (spongy braking) upon brake application.

Acura is a frontrunner in braking technology and engineering. Our brake pads are designed to limit squeaking and squealing associated with aftermarket brake pads. There are times when saving a few dollars may not always be the best move. Below are some risks associated with settling with aftermarket brake pads:
  • Faster wear resulting in replacement more often
  • Extended braking distance
  • Abnormal noises
  • Many aftermarket pads are made with harder compounds that can cause heat from the friction on the rotors, thereby, warping the rotors which in turn causes vibration upon brake application.
Our factory trained technicians see Acura vehicles every day. They have been specifically trained to work on your vehicle. Many third party service sites have unqualified technicians working on your vehicle. Who do you want to put the trust of your brakes in?
