Shown: 2019 Acura RDX prototype

When you stop by Superior Acura, be sure to add the 2018 Acura RDX to your list of vehicles to test drive. This model features tons of standard features to keep you safe and comfortable whether you are driving to work or taking a long road trip.

While the 2019 Acura RDX isn't yet available to test drive, it has been seen in public at various events. It's set to launch nationwide this summer and initial impressions agree that the 2019 RDX looks larger and more powerful than previous model years.

There will be an A-Spec variant available at launch, which is the first sporty addon ever for an Acura SUV. This is evidently supposed to be a trend, though: Acura has said that all future core vehicles will receive the A-Spec treatment.

The engine at launch will be the new 2.0-liter VTEC turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine. The 2019 RDX will have a 10-speed automatic transmission.

While the new RDX is the same height as the 2018 version, it is both longer and wider.

The interior features 16-way adjustable sport front seats that are heated and cooled, covered in Nappa leather, and that offer lumbar support. Four of the 16 speakers in the updated sound system are located in the roof instead of the door, for better sound and clarity. Also standard are a sport steering wheel and ultra-wide panoramic roof. The infotainment system features a touchpad interface and a 10.2-inch screen. The new interface will be in future Acuras. The RDX also has new natural language speech recognition. There is 4G LTE Wi-Fi and over-the-air updates for telematics and infotainment.
