The Acura ILX may feature LED illuminated tail lights, Jewel Eye LED headlights, 11.1-inch solid rear disc brakes, 12.3-inch ventilated front disc brakes, ABS brakes, brake assist, electronic brake distribution, the LATCH system for child seats, a tire pressure monitoring system, LED daytime running lights, vehicle stability assist, the ACE body structure, the Immobilizer theft deterrent system, driver and front passenger side airbags, side curtain airbags, and driver and front passenger dual stage airbags.

The 2018 Acura ILX features an i-VTEC 2.4-liter engine backed by an eight-speed dual clutch transmission with a torque converter and sequential SportShift paddle shifters. This combination makes 180 pound-feet of torque at 3,800 rpm and 201 horsepower at 6,800 rpm. Mechanical features include the Drive-by-Wire throttle system.
